RCPIT has been successfully running a hearing impaired school (HIS) for last 17 years. HIS educates 50 students with hearing disability, so that they can live a normal life with livelihood and acceptability from society. The school has also received Maharashtra Government grant. School bears all the cost of their education and activities. These students educate themselves and gain respect, employment and normal life once they pass out. Vocational training is also a part of their education.
